Acceptable Use Policy
Last Updated: August 2026
Governs all use of logtolast.com, the LogToLast dashboard, API, webhooks, and desktop software
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the rules for fair, legal, and ethical use of the LogToLast platform and all associated services. This policy exists to protect the integrity of our infrastructure, the stability of third-party broker API connections, the safety of all users' accounts, and the legal compliance of LogToLast LLC.
This AUP is incorporated by reference into, and forms part of, the LogToLast Terms of Service. Violations of this AUP constitute violations of the Terms of Service and may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.
2. Platform Purpose โ Permitted Uses
LogToLast is designed and licensed exclusively for the following lawful purposes. The following are expressly permitted:
โ Personal Trade Journaling: Logging and analyzing your own live, historical, and simulated trades across connected broker accounts.
โ Backtesting: Importing TradingView or CSV strategy exports into the Backtest Lab to evaluate historical performance of your personal trading strategies.
โ Personal Webhook Signal Routing: Using the webhook system to automatically route trade signals from your own strategy (via TradingView alerts or other tools) to your own broker accounts. All accounts involved must be owned and controlled by you.
โ Prop Firm Challenge Tracking: Using the Prop Challenge Tracker to monitor your own evaluation progress at licensed proprietary trading firms.
โ AI Coaching: Using the AI Trading Coach to receive educational analysis of your own trading performance.
โ Affiliate Program Participation: Referring new users to LogToLast through your personal referral link in compliance with the Affiliate Terms.
3. Prohibited Uses
The following uses are strictly prohibited and constitute a material breach of these Terms. Where applicable, legal authorities may be notified.
3.1 Financial Regulatory Violations
๐ซ MAM / PAM Operations (Copy Trading Others): Using LogToLast to trade on behalf of other people's accounts (Managed Account Management or Portfolio Account Management). This includes routing signals to accounts not owned by you, regardless of whether you have the account holder's verbal consent. This is prohibited by the NinjaTraderยฎ API License Agreement, Tradovate Terms of Service, and applicable financial regulations in most jurisdictions. Note: Personal Trade Syncing (syncing trades across multiple accounts that you personally own) is fully supported and expressly permitted.
๐ซ Unauthorized Fund Management: Describing or marketing your use of LogToLast as a fund management, investment management, or copy-trading service for third-party clients โ whether or not payment is involved. Using the platform for Personal Trade Syncing of your own proprietary trading firm or brokerage accounts is permitted.
๐ซ Circumventing NinjaTrader Paywalls: Using the platform to duplicate or provide access to native NinjaTrader features that are intentionally limited or removed from their Free tier (e.g., providing ATM Strategies to NinjaTrader Free Live Trading users).
3.2 API & Infrastructure Abuse
๐ซ Webhook Spamming: Sending an excessive volume of webhook signals designed to flood our processing infrastructure, simulate market activity, or test load limits without prior authorization. Accounts exceeding reasonable signal volumes will be automatically rate-limited or terminated.
๐ซ Automated Scraping / Crawling: Using bots, scrapers, or automated tools to extract data from the LogToLast website or dashboard (including the Funding Hub prop firm directory) beyond normal usage. Prop firm data displayed on our Funding Hub is our proprietary database and may not be scraped or bulk-downloaded.
๐ซ API Rate Limit Abuse: Deliberately circumventing rate limits through IP rotation, account cycling, or request manipulation to extract more data than is permitted under your subscription tier.
๐ซ Broker API Abuse via Our Infrastructure: Using LogToLast's broker API connections (Tradovate, MT5, Rithmic, ProjectX, NinjaTrader) in ways that violate those brokers' own Terms of Service, including but not limited to submitting excessive orders designed to exploit latency arbitrage or trigger burst-limit bans.
๐ซ AI Features Abuse (Fair Use & Spam): All AI features, including the AI Trading Coach and AI Support Assistant, are protected by dynamic Fair Use Limits. The "Unlimited" Elite tier is subject to a strict 3,000 messages per calendar month soft-cap to prevent API abuse. Furthermore, deliberately spamming the AI with meaningless text, gibberish, prompt-injection attacks, or attempting to programmatically exhaust token limits is strictly prohibited. Our AI systems employ semantic tripwires; detected abuse will result in an automatic account review and potential permanent termination.
3.3 Security Violations
๐ซ Reverse Engineering: Decompiling, disassembling, or reverse engineering any part of our platform, including our desktop applications, API endpoints, or proprietary algorithms (including the Fairness Score and Persona Engine).
๐ซ Security Testing Without Authorization: Conducting penetration tests, vulnerability scans, SQL injection attempts, or any other security testing against our infrastructure without prior written authorization from LogToLast LLC. Unauthorized security testing is illegal under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA) and equivalent laws.
๐ซ Account Sharing / Credential Distribution: Sharing your account credentials, session tokens, or API keys with third parties. Each account is licensed for one individual user only.
๐ซ Exploiting the Admin Impersonation Feature: Attempting to trigger, simulate, or exploit the platform's administrator impersonation capability through unauthorized requests.
3.4 Gamification & Reward System Abuse
๐ซ Journal Spamming: Creating fake, meaningless, or automated journal entries solely to inflate journaling frequency metrics for the purpose of achieving higher Persona tiers, unlocking discount codes, or gaming the Achievements system.
๐ซ Challenge Reward Farming: Intentionally failing Prop Firm evaluations to repeatedly trigger the 15% "Fail Support" discount. The 3 minimum active trading days requirement and 30-day cooldown exist specifically to prevent this. Detected exploitation will result in permanent reward blacklisting.
๐ซ Fake Referrals: Generating referral signups using fake email addresses, self-referrals, or coordinated fraud schemes to earn affiliate commissions.
๐ซ Certificate Fraud: Generating or distributing Challenge Certificates that misrepresent your actual trading performance.
3.5 Leaderboard & Community Conduct
๐ซ Leaderboard Manipulation: Artificially inflating your public leaderboard metrics by importing fabricated trade data, using a demo account while claiming live trading status, or any other form of misrepresentation.
๐ซ Defamatory Prop Firm Reviews: Submitting false, fabricated, or malicious reviews of Prop Firms on the Funding Hub with the intent to harm the firm's reputation or to manipulate the Fairness Score. Reviews must reflect genuine personal experience.
3.6 Legal & Ethical Violations
๐ซ Market Manipulation Activities: Using LogToLast infrastructure to coordinate, plan, or execute market manipulation schemes (e.g., pump-and-dump, spoofing, layering).
๐ซ Fraudulent Chargebacks: Initiating illegitimate payment disputes or chargebacks for valid subscription charges. This constitutes friendly fraud and will result in immediate account termination, submission of evidence to payment processors, and potential legal action.
๐ซ Access from Sanctioned Jurisdictions: Accessing the platform from countries or regions subject to international sanctions where our service is legally blocked (enforced at the Cloudflare WAF layer and application middleware, resulting in HTTP 451 responses). Attempting to circumvent geo-blocks via VPN or proxy is a violation of these Terms.
4. Enforcement & Consequences
LogToLast LLC reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of this AUP. Upon detection of a violation, we may take one or more of the following actions depending on severity:
โ Level 1 โ Warning: A formal written notice to the account holder identifying the specific violation and requiring immediate remediation. A 24-hour cure period may be granted for minor, first-time violations.
โ Level 2 โ Temporary Suspension: Immediate suspension of specific platform features (e.g., webhook processing, API access) while the investigation is ongoing. Subscription billing continues during suspension.
โ Level 3 โ Permanent Termination: Immediate and permanent termination of your LogToLast account, revocation of all Rewards and affiliate commissions, blacklisting of associated IP addresses and device fingerprints. No refund is issued. Applies to MAM/PAM violations, security breaches, fraud, and chargeback abuse.
โ Level 4 โ Legal Action: Referral to law enforcement authorities, regulatory bodies (SEC, CFTC, NFA), or civil litigation where violations involve fraud, market manipulation, unauthorized computer access (CFAA), or financial crimes. We will cooperate fully with any lawful investigation.
5. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of a violation of this AUP by another user, or if you discover a security vulnerability in our platform, please report it to us immediately:
- General AUP violations: [email protected]
- Security vulnerabilities (Responsible Disclosure): [email protected] โ Please do not publicly disclose vulnerabilities before we have had the opportunity to address them. We acknowledge reports within 48 hours.
We appreciate responsible disclosure and take all security reports seriously.
6. Changes to This Policy
LogToLast may update this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a platform notification. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
